Common causes
- Carpal tunnel (thumb–middle finger tingling, night pain)
- De Quervain’s / tendonitis (pain near thumb side with grip)
- Desk posture (wrist extension, hard keyboard edge)
Quick relief
- Neutral wrist: keep keyboard low/flat; use palm support briefly.
- Grip break: avoid sustained pinch; use larger handles.
- Ice 5–10 min for sharp flare; heat/gentle motion for stiffness.
