What is Circulation Therapy?
A 3-stage treatment system to restore impaired circulation and regain lost movement
Why Do You Need Circulation Therapy?
Most chronic pain stems from “functional issues” rather than “structural damage.”
When poor blood circulation, fascial adhesions, and nerve sensitization persist over time, pain continues even when MRI results show normal findings.
Circulation Therapy is a treatment system that breaks this vicious cycle and restores the body’s natural healing capacity.
Pain = Nervous System Sensitivity (Alarm) × Load Imbalance (Load)
Pain is the product of sensitivity and load, not the amount of damage. Circulation Therapy addresses both simultaneously.
3-Stage Circulation Treatment System
Calm Down
Calms overly tense muscles and nerves. Circulation HD reduces inflammation and relieves protective tension.
Awaken
Awakens weakened primary movers and restores joint mobility. Personalized 1:1 therapy sessions restore normal function.
Connect
Corrects movement patterns for natural use in daily activities. Develops movement habits that prevent recurrence.
Circulation Therapy Programs
Circulation HD
Excellent for Calm Down stage
Ultrasound-guided precision injection procedure. Uses saline solution to reduce inflammation and release adhesions in fascia and nerves.
- No steroids used
- Suitable for acute/multiple pain sites
- Immediate relief of protective tension
Circulation PT
Strong in Awaken·Connect stages
Treatment centered on personalized 1:1 therapy sessions. Awakens weakened muscles and learns correct movement patterns.
- Awakens weakened muscles first
- Focus on functional recovery
- Teaches patterns to prevent recurrence
How Treatment Proceeds
- Initial Consultation (10 min)
We thoroughly assess pain patterns, lifestyle habits, and past treatment history. Red flag checks are also conducted. - Functional Assessment
Through movement tests, palpation exams, and tender point mapping, we find the root cause of the problem. Ultrasound scans are performed if needed. - Treatment Planning
We assess the levels of Alarm (nervous system sensitivity) and Load (force imbalance) to design a personalized treatment stage suited to the patient’s condition. - Circulation Treatment Implementation
We proceed with the appropriate treatment among Circulation HD, Circulation PT, or Circulation Combo. Each session follows the Calm Down→Awaken→Connect sequence. - Effect Evaluation & Adjustment
We measure NRS (pain score), ROM (range of motion), etc. to confirm treatment effectiveness and adjust the plan as needed.
Suitable For
- Chronic pain patients with pain lasting 3+ months
- Those still in pain despite MRI showing no abnormalities
- Those who received treatment at multiple hospitals without effect
- Those experiencing recurrence after temporary improvement from injections or medication
- Those with remaining pain even after surgery
- Those who want to avoid steroid injections
Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I receive Circulation Therapy?
We recommend twice weekly initially, with intervals increasing as conditions improve. Acute phase: 2-3 times/week, subacute phase: 1-2 times/week, chronic phase: gradually transition to PT-focused treatment. Average treatment period is 4-8 weeks.
What’s the difference between Circulation HD and Circulation PT?
Circulation HD is ultrasound-guided injection therapy using saline solution, effective for the Calm Down stage. It releases overactivated muscles, adhered fascia, and trapped nerves. Circulation PT uses personalized 1:1 therapy sessions, effective for Awaken and Connect stages. It awakens weakened muscles and teaches correct movement patterns.
Does Circulation HD contain steroids?
No. Circulation HD is primarily performed with saline solution and does not use steroids. PDRN (salmon injection) may be selectively used if needed.
Will treatment interfere with daily life?
Most people can return to daily activities immediately after treatment. Pain naturally improves within 5 minutes for most patients after the procedure. Some (about 10%) may experience soreness for a few hours to days, which is a normal response.
How long do the effects last?
While individual results vary, patients experience about 70% improvement on average. Completing all 3 stages through Circulation Combo reduces recurrence rate to under 30%. The correct movement patterns learned in the Connect stage are key to preventing recurrence.
